Ian Brewster has been Head Groundsman at Middleton Cricket Club since 1983, he holds several professional qualifications relating to Groundsmanship and Greenkeeping.
The standard of the ground and wicket that he has maintained is such that the club has hosted :

Ian's other professional activities include being contracted by various standards of Cricket Clubs in the region, to advise on improving their playing surfaces.
In 1996, he was also appointed Ground Consultant for the Central Lancashire League, involving inspections of all the Grounds within the League.
